National Walkways
Waipu Caves Track – National Walkway
The Waipu Caves Track is a 2km walk near Waipu Caves leading you through a picturesque karst limestone landscape across farmland and regenerating bush to a point where you can take in magnificent views. Within the entrance to the caves, you will find stalactites, stalagmites and glow worms.
Piroa Falls Track – National Walkway
Follow the 200m Piroa Falls Track across the Ahuroa River and on to the picturesque Piroa Falls. The river has many suitable swimming holes along the track, making it a fun walk for children.
Ruakaka Pipeline Track– National Walkway
Ruakaka Pipeline Road Track is considered suitable for people of most fitness levels. The 3km track provides back dune access to Bream Bay.
